class time.

today in class, we did accelerated math. i've finished two practices. we're suppose to have 10 objectives and i havent even got one yet. i've been using my spare to get math done and try understand it better, its starting to get easier but there are a few things that i dont understand. We also have word problems to work on.

work.

Today in class, we did our mental math, which is kind of complicating for me most of the time because im tired from work so i can't really think much. But the worksheets, and work books are starting to be more clear to me and i know what im doing to a point. When i need help i ask other students and i check to make sure with the teacher. Word problems were never my favorite, i hated them. Now word problems are getting easier to understand, without rushing through my work. Also, i like the fact that if you stuck with something the teacher's here to help you, at my last school we were just given notes and the assignments and were lucky to see the teacher for help. It was harder to grasp things and understand it. But with help its easier to understand and remember what your doing.

Today, we worked on questions from our workbook and we did examples. Doing the work in class is alot easier then doing it at home. Having homework is the last thing i need, so i try to get whatever i possibly can get done in class.

Solve by solution

Today's assignment, was to Solve by solution, it was an easy process to learn for me. I did this last year, and its kind of not so clear right now but i know with enough practice, i'll be able to do it.

example:

l1; 2x+4y=8
l2; 3x+y= -13

Y would eaqual 8-2x
because you would have to take 2x away from the left side and subtract it on the right side.

Plotting,

Today we were showed better how to do our workbooks, and plotting i have troubles with but i dont mind it at all, its justconfusing at times. Im more of an algebra person and i understand it better because i never liked plotting or graphs. Although, i do think i can manage and finish the work book, with barely any troubles. The only place i can see having trouble is word problems, i dont like them because they're way to confusing sometimes. But todays class im glad i got things accomplished and i understand better how to do what im suppose to. Things in this class are becoming more clear and i enjoy being in it. Math is one of my favorite subjects.

Today, we looked up information on how to do the Solution of Linear Equations by Substitution. For the first 10 minutes, it was very confusing to understand what we were suppose to do. Its, really hot in here right now and its hard to concentrate, this room should have air conditioning. We're also doing our work books, and at this second we're going outside because its hot, too hot. :)
